HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

Our Lady’s English Medium Nursery School was founded in the year 1955. Later, it was upgraded to Our Lady’s Primary School in 1960. Our School is affiliated to the Board of Education of Tamil Nadu and students by the Director of School Education in his proceedings, D.Dis.No.121839/E3/96 dt. 10.01.1997. The medium of instruction is English, while Tamil, Hindi and French (Higher secondary only) are taught as Second languages. This school is being administered by the Salesian Sister. It is a minority institute intended primarily to promote the educational interest of the Catholics. Members of other communities may be admitted at the absolute discretion of the management.
